General Information
Age Groups: Ages as of December 31, 2011 (Not age at fair time).
Fairest of the Fair - contestant must have reached 16, but NOT 21 years of age.
No Contestants are accepted under 4 years of age.
There are NO categories for boys, babies, or girls 3 and under!
Entry forms plus the entry fee of $25.00 must be filled out and mailed to P.O. Box 126, Union City, TN 38281 or brought to the Fair office, located at 1711 E. Church Street, no later than 4pm on Friday, August 12th, 2011.
NO LATE REGISTRATIONS will be accepted on the day of rehearsal.
Rehearsals for contestants will be held at the Grandstand at the following times on Sunday, August 14th:
Fairest of the Fair (16 to 21) - 1:00pm
Petite Miss (4 to 6) - 1:30pm
Little Miss (7 to 9) - 2:00pm
Junior Miss (10 to 12) - 2:30pm
Teen Miss (13 to 15) - 3:00pm
All contestants will draw their number of appearance at rehearsal.
If for some reason, a contestant is not able to come to rehearsal, SPECIAL PERMISSION MUST BE OBTAINED FROM THE PAGEANT COORDINATOR, by calling Sharon Regen at 885-3818.
Dressing room is provided, but is limited to contestant and ONE parent or helper.
Professional pictures will be taken if the contestant wishes to purchase them. Pictures are not included in the entry fee.
PLEASE EXPECT TO FULFILL THESE DUTIES IF YOU ENTER THE PAGEANT.
Each queen and maid will be assigned specific events at which they MUST BE PRESENT during Fair week of August 15th through August 20th, 2011.
The Fairest of the Fair will be expected to attend the Tennessee Association of Fairs Convention in Nashville with the delegation from the Obion County Fair.
